“Is this really happening to us?” he silently asked himself.

He could not believe what was once a continuous conversation is no more

He had just checked, she was on line, but the last message was a ‘thank you’ in the morning after he had wished her a lovely day.

During their honey days, she had been so resourceful. She had almost all answers to his questions.

Right now, on top of the many ‘working’ questions, he has hundreds of others all made up in his head, but can’t get himself to ask her

“It may be too soon,” he mutters to himself, “but I accept that this is reality.”

He switched phone off and went to bed, but this short lived goodness wasn’t about to end there…
